If people are unique then others could hold on to those differences and make a big deal out of them, instead of celebrating them.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy Upgrade My Windows
How does improving your home's energy efficiency help you better live out your values?

If I can do this, then a lot of people can, and should because it helps our community and our planet.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Grace Beatty 10/11/2018 8:34 PM
I think I would be vey surprised to find out how much time I actually spend using energy, it could come from being on my computer, turning on a light or even brushing my teeth with an electric toothbrush.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy Choose Clean/Renewable Energy
How might you be able to get others involved in advocating for the shift to clean energy?

    Grace Beatty 10/11/2018 8:33 PM
Since my mom works at an electric company, she tries really hard to advocate for clean energy because it really helps the environment, electricity use and global warming.

There isn't a lot of water concerns other than in the winters we get so much rain, and especially with climate change we could see those rising.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water Fix Leaky Faucets
Fixing leaky faucets is one of the tasks that we can easily put off until later. Good job on completing this action! How will you use the momentum from completing this action to increase your water efficiency?

    Grace Beatty 10/11/2018 8:31 PM
I am fixing my faucet today, because it has been leaky for a while, when I do this I can save a lot of water because it doesn't drip anymore.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Water Insulate Water Pipes and Water Heater
How do you think climate change will affect your region’s water supply? Think about the effects of weather, storms, salinity, and sea level rise, among other changes. How can you find out more about climate change’s impact to your region's water?

    Grace Beatty 10/11/2018 8:29 PM
I think that it is very important to save and use all of the water we can get because someday we might not have all the resources we do today, so we need to savor them.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Grace Beatty 10/11/2018 8:18 PM
Every year I play my violin on the street and earn money for nonprofits and charities. On average I earn about $1000 a day, and if I continue to do this it could really impact a lot of peoples lives.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Meet My Local Farmers
When you know who produces your food, you are connecting personally to your complex regional food system. What are the advantages of knowing who produces your food and where it comes from? Do you think this might enable someone to advocate for a better quality of life for those who produce their food, both near and far?

I think that knowing where your food come from is really important, if you know you can choose healthier food, more locally sourced food and a lot more important decision that can really change our way of life.
