    i've learned we compost a good amount of food in my house.  We need to adjust our food production.

    Bringing your own bags and containers to the grocery store, and even to restaurants for leftovers, are a couple of ways to reduce your waste. What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

    we regularly use reusable grocery bags and we just purchased some reusable veggie bags, very excited to use these.

      I love the mesh bags I have for veggies! They also work well for other bulk items like almonds. ;-)

      I also just purchased mesh vegetable bags! I love them! I like to just pop them in the fridge with my greens in them too.
