Waste

Skip the Straw

Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.

I keep getting compliments on my Koffie Straws every time I get coffee, and it's a chance to share my discoveries with others who are looking for ways to use less plastic. Keep going guys! Your impact is being noticed by those around you!

Got more Koffie Straws in the mail yesterday! Taller than the last ones, and I am so excited that I have found more ways to go plastic free. Love this challenge to pay more attention to the single-use items that I use daily.

Learning where to recycle clothing that won’t be wearable once the hole in the crotch gets too bad. Thankful for the opportunity to make a small difference. And now I don’t have to feel bad about throwing away my pants. Lol.

Buying sustainable, package free, plastic free items in preparation for a better October! Silicone baggies, bamboo toothbrushes, bio-degradable bandage strips, and a few other things. I'm excited to be challenged to continue this journey!
