As a local community we will know what is in our food and what foods and how much is needed vs big corporations trying to drive the consumer to what they believe the consumer wants and needs. This mentally is not for the common good but to line the Big Corporations pockets.

I'm hoping I win one of the glass straws.  I haven't tried one yet.  I use metal straws and have been for a couple years now.  I also have a couple of silicone straws but no glass ones.  Does anyone out there use the glass straws?  Do you like them?  Do they break easily?

Just wanted to encourage everyone to at least try one of the challenges.  Small changes turn into great impact within time.  So I challenge you to take the plunge...

Using your own reusable bags is easy always carry at least one with you.  I live in a community (McMinnville) that the City passed a no bag...period ordinance.  If you want a bag you must pay for it.  So lets make a change...it really is easy...I challenge you all to at least try it for a week...we all have those reusable bags sitting around...All you have to do is remember to have handy,

A little tip...always be prepared with a reusable water bottle or straw.  Keep one in your car, backpack, purse or computer bag.
