An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

Michael Pollan states that "it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor." What are your thoughts on this?

Yes, I have used food as medicine to help with my autoimmune disease  and it has gotten me entirely off of Prescription medicines.

Can organic farming feed the world? Which side of the argument do you fall on? Why?

No I don't believe It can as it produces 19-26% less of a crop than non Organic Farming. However it also uses less water, so if we could somehow ensure larger crops, we may be able to.
