  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Find Local Recycling Depots
Our ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?

I could bu more local meat. I would like to, it's just hard to get sometimes at an affordable price.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I'm excited that the city is planning on implementing compost. I'm hoping to get on the test group for that.

I'd like to reflect more on the things that are going well
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I went shopping instead of watching a show after work
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles serve an important role in places for health and safety, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. Can you identify the barriers in making this a new habit? How can you set yourself up for success in making this a permanent change?

I drink a lot of Vitamin Water because I like the taste. It's cheaper and healthier for me to drink water at work in a reusable bottle. However, I always recycle my Vitamin Water bottles so they don't "end up in a landfill".
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reuseable one but it's just hard to make the switch. Think about what stands in your way of making this a habit. By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

I feel like it's 50/50. If I use my own mug then I'm using a k-cup to make the coffee. If I buy my coffee in a paper cup then I'm wasting the paper cup.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Nature Go for a Daily Walk
How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?
