REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Choose Organic IngredientsCan organic farming feed the world? Which side of the argument do you fall on? Why?
Claire Druker 10/03/2018 5:40 PMI think organic farming is important, but we don’t have enough. People aren’t use to having a ton of organic farms. In time, everyone will understand the importance of organic farms, and having organic meals. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Claire Druker 10/03/2018 10:45 AMYou can walk, hike, & run outside in nature with friends which incorporates all of the above. Exercising is important, and doing it with friends is a fun way of doing -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Enjoy the Sunrise/SunsetFather Thomas Berry says, "...our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." Respond to Berry's assertion.
Claire Druker 9/30/2018 8:12 PMI think that what Berry is saying is that looking at the sunrise or sunset is something that’s important. People can connect more to our world with little things like looking at sunrise/sunset.-
Zia Laboff (EcoChallenge Staff) 9/30/2018 10:37 PMI agree with your assessment of this quote for sure. To add to that, I think he's saying we can connect to our world in a ritualistic way since the sunrise and sunset occur everyday. In that way, it gives us a consistent access point to connect with the earth and its cycles.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhat do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than in other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?
Claire Druker 9/30/2018 7:12 PMIf people stop eating meat as much meat, maybe animals won’t be killed as much. -
