REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Weekly Meal PlanningAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?
Hillary Htun 10/16/2018 4:07 AMThis fact surprises me because my dad normally makes my family eat all of our food so that we don’t waste anything when it goes bad. If I had a choice, I would rather spend it on nessesary thing like clothes. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Healthy SleepConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Hillary Htun 10/15/2018 4:20 AMTo my sleep, I would like to add more hours of sleep because I’m really drowsy in the morning. Then I can’t focus throughout the day. So when I tried this I found that drinking milk before going to bed helps really well, and well as opening windows. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Support Pollution ReductionWhat environmental factors affect human health in your region, and how do they affect it?
Hillary Htun 10/13/2018 5:16 AMIn my environment we have lots of trees and wildlife. They affect us because we can get lots of fresh air, and we can learn more about forest wildlife compared to let’s say, the city. We affect the environment because, many people enjoy to to take care of the environment and it’s inhabitants. So trees and animals are plenty. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Hillary Htun 10/12/2018 4:47 PMI can incorporate personal time with family and friends by going on walks or running with them together. This way I can talk to them. -
Hillary Htun 10/12/2018 4:43 PMMy challenge is going ok, I hope I’m helping out the environment. -
Hillary Htun 10/12/2018 10:51 AMI’m thankful my ma picked me up, that I didn’t get blown up by a bomb, and that I managed to make the bus this morning. -
Hillary Htun 10/11/2018 6:31 PMI’m thankful for the fact that I can live in a good community, that I’m lucky to have nice people around me, and that I can make a difference in the world. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Hillary Htun 10/09/2018 5:38 AMPracticing gratitude helps you feel motivated for doing better work. For example, let’s say you complimented your mom, friend, or sibling, then they get the encouragement for the day. That pushes you to do your best for them and yourself in some way.
