    This was definitely a struggle...especially grocery shopping! I (mostly) resisted the urge to buy unneccesary things like cookies, and tried to stay focused on only the necessary and healthy options.

    I visited the Cylburn arboretum as my new place. It is a beautiful, however small, grounds with lovely flower gardens and trails. A nice escape from the city.

    I would like to invest more time in reflecting on gratitude and positivity. Too often, I focus on the bad and let it drag me down. I would like to meditate more with a goal of creating a healthier mindset and outlook on life.

    I was able to complete two daily challenges today! One of which was a 5 minute meditation. I was having a pretty bad day, but listening to a guided meditation really helped calm me down and move on from the day. I look forward to challenging myself to keep this up throughout the month!

    I sent a message to message to my best friend from college...it felt nice sending a "thank you for being a friend" message without any reason to. I know it'll brighten her day!
