Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Last day: depressed that my actions don't really add up to major change. This challenge encourages "best behavior" within the current paradigm. But the paradigm needs to change. Either we change the paradigm voluntarily or it is changed for us by the feedback loops that our behavior has initiated. Doesn't matter to me; I'll be dead by then. But my students will experience the full force. They are disengaged. Perhaps a product of the "lottery winner syndrome": too much privilege. Irony is that the most privileged people are the least resilient.

Experimented with a new way to make my own granola bars. Mostly organic with only a little added sugar--dates provide most sweetness.

I'm tired of biking in the rain.

Why are organic ingredients better than local?

Harvested more fall greens today from raised bed garden. Planted garlic.

Happily, I live in a rural area and grow my own greens, so the cooking part is easy. And I hate driving, so the biking is easy too.
