REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity De-Clutter My HomeHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?
Ingvill Kaasin Montgomery 10/06/2018 8:46 PMI try to delay purchases, to make sure I really need it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth More Fruits and VeggiesWhat do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How can we start shifting from a meat-focused food culture to a more plant-based one?
Ingvill Kaasin Montgomery 10/05/2018 10:59 PMI think part of the problem is that here people eat a lot of meat with each meal. Instead of buying 1 lb of meat for a meal, I have started buying 1/2lb of meat. So more of each meal is plant based. But we are still eating some meat. In some cultures, the meat is more like garnish. It's not the main thing on the plate. I like that approach. -
Ingvill Kaasin Montgomery 10/05/2018 10:48 PMI made dinner that called for canned butternut squash today. But instead of using canned butternut squash, I cooked one. No packaging! : ) -
Ingvill Kaasin Montgomery 10/05/2018 10:46 PMInstead of ordering a book on Amazon, a mom in my local Mom FB Group had one that I'm borrowing. Not super organized sharing-economy, but still... I think that counts ; ) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Try a New Way to PrepCanning and pickling food is a great way to have delicious summer fruits and vegetables all year round. Just make sure to follow the canning and pickling guidelines from the USDA. What are some foods that you would like to preserve and enjoy later in the year?

Ingvill Kaasin Montgomery 10/04/2018 1:57 PMI just canceled the Bi-Mart mailer that has been coming in my mailbox for years (I don't shop there and I'm not a member). Must be fromt he last person who lived here. I'm trying not to beat myself up over not doing it sooner, but rather celebrate that I did it today! Yeay!-
Sherry Liptan 10/06/2018 9:44 PMI get so much junk mail and I just mindlessly recycle it. I want to follow up and stop it at its source. Thanks for the inspiration. -
Sasha Pollack 10/04/2018 3:43 PMGreat reminder - I just got one yesterday too!
