I'm so surprised at which challenges are hard and which ones are easy for me!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

This statistic doesn't surprise me - we are a culture that does not think about future impact much. Instead, it makes me sad and more focused on teaching my children to be more conscientious.
I would much rather use that $1500 to buy higher quality food!
