REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity De-Clutter My HomeHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?
Christie Kracker 10/21/2018 4:12 PMThis is difficult for me as I enjoying buying. I have gotten better about purchasing items and really asking myself if I need it or want it and is it good for our family finances. -
Christie Kracker 10/21/2018 4:06 PMAs a family we are going to commit to at least one weekend a month that we will be tech/ screen free so that we are spending more time with each other. We are going to go social media free for the Thanksgiving Holiday and no individual screen time (family TV/ movie time only). -
Christie Kracker 10/16/2018 7:18 PMThe last two days have been spent being present with 55 young people from our community. The first thing we did was put down our phones and be present with each other as we shared our vulnerability, spoke our truth, and committed to making a change. It is the work that renews my soul. Thankful for the opportunity to work with the Middle School Peer Leadership retreat. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Volunteer in my CommunityWhat is one thing you can do to help your community become more sustainable?
Christie Kracker 10/16/2018 7:14 PMSpent two days volunteering with 55 local middle school students around peer leadership. It was amazing to have deep conversations about speaking your truth and the difference one person can make in the lives of others. I was blown away by these students and the feedback they provided me. Find your PACE--passion-action-creativity-education -

REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Less Screen TimeWhat did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?
Christie Kracker 10/11/2018 6:44 PMI find myself able to focus more on my family by putting away my phone during meals. I do find it hard to leave the screens closed but I know it is something I need to do more often. I need to consider the role model I am for my kids. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Christie Kracker 10/11/2018 6:42 PMIt allows me to appreciate others and their lives while giving me the opportunity to reflect on the blessings in my life.
