My family needs to really start watching the amount of energy we use in our home.  Turning out lights or only using the minimal amount of lighting would be a huge step to saving on our electric bill and saving the environment.  We already use energy efficient bulbs, but they only do so much when the lights are left blazing all night long.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Five minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?

Next step would be to install a low flow shower head.

I notice that my family is very wasteful.  Which is a reflection on my cooking and how much I am making at each meal.  I need to be more resourceful so that food is not being thrown away.

My extended family has been composting for several years.  Our compost is used as fertilizer towards my family's garden.
