How do/can NWEI programs help you develop a stronger sense of community?

    Kristal Lin's avatar
    Kristal Lin 10/23/2018 6:20 PM
NWEI programs make me become physically and mentally more aware of the earth, and what I can do to help the community.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy Replace Manual Thermostats
How do you anticipate replacing your thermostats for programmable ones will positively impact your life?

    Kristal Lin's avatar
    Kristal Lin 10/21/2018 1:00 PM
It will be more convenient for me to control the temperature.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Water Insulate Water Pipes and Water Heater
How do you think climate change will affect your region’s water supply? Think about the effects of weather, storms, salinity, and sea level rise, among other changes. How can you find out more about climate change’s impact to your region's water?

    Kristal Lin's avatar
    Kristal Lin 10/18/2018 5:49 PM
Climate change doesn't really have a huge impact on my region's water supply, but other places have warmer temperatures, which cause the water to become low quality, and the lakes and rivers will dry up.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How can you use NWEI programs to help mobilize your community to take action toward a sustainable future?

We can learn and spread knowledge around to those who may not be aware of what is happening to our earth. We can then all be more aware of our actions and do good to the earth.

What most interested or surprised you about your own energy footprint?

    Kristal Lin's avatar
    Kristal Lin 10/08/2018 7:53 PM
Nothing really surprised me. I know that I use a lot of water and that I should try to solve that problem. I am kind of surprised at how less electricity we use than other people. I guess it's a good thing.
