Kristie Marx 10/12/2018 7:29 AMI love being able to resell or donate items to neighbors who's kids are younger than mine. It saves them money and saves us money when we are able to buy from our neighbors. The more our clothes and toys can be reused, the better. -

Kristie Marx 10/03/2018 8:56 AMI think making decluttering a weekly occurrence, instead of letting things pile up would really help. It should be a weekly job to declutter one or two drawers or shelves. I think the more consistent I am with decluttering, the better luck I will have. -

Kristie Marx 10/03/2018 8:54 AMI have kids and a dog, so it's easy to incorporate them into my exercise routine. I also love being outdoors all year (yes, even winter!). I love to take the kids and dog out for hikes. Sometimes we walk to the store instead of driving. I am always trying to be creative with ways we can be outside and burning off energy. Hopefully in the future we can do some outdoor yard projects as well. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Weekly Meal PlanningAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?
Kristie Marx 10/03/2018 8:49 AMNo, this does not surprise me! Our family throws away so much food we have intentions of eating, but then we get busy and end up tossing it because it expires. We probably throw away between $20-30 a week. I think I want to start shopping every few days, rather than spending a ton of money one day that is supposed to I would much rather spend the money we waste of food to take the family on a fun vacation.
