I purchased a used desk chair from Marketplace, rather than buying a new one. This is a Pottery Barn chair, has a bit of wear on the arm rests, but has character. Now my goal is to purchase only previously used or loved furniture (except for mattresses).

While downsizing at home I selected cups, glasses and flatware to stock our office break room so we would have additional reusable items.

I'm thankful every day for my horse Romeo, and for the ability to get out there and keep riding!

I consider use and function when ordering public outreach giveaways. I ask myself, "Will this item end up in the trash or will they use it?" We offer the Spin-the-Wheel game, and they select a prize. The prizes include: reusable tote bag, bike bell, tape measure/level, clip on reflector & blinker, reflective ankle/wrist bands, post-it notes, spiral eco-notebooks and string back packs.

You have the best kind of wheel too - with the replaceable spots for inserts, you can customize this to different themes over and over again.
