Even though I know how terrible they are to your health, I have always had a slight problem with avoiding refined sugars. Since starting this challenge, I have made a conscious effort to limit my intake of refined sugars as well as adding more fruits and vegetables to my diet and I have noticed a huge improvement in the way I feel and even my clarity of mind. 10/10 will continue these healthy eating habits when October has passed.

It keeps me in a mindset that is grateful and causes me to be less likely to worry about things that aren’t as big of a deal as I make them out to be. This helps me concentrate more on bettering my life and doing well in school.

I have really enjoyed participating in this challenge during the month of October. It has helped me to re-establish some more sustainable habits, as well as beginning new ones, such as volunteering regularly.
