How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

I try my best to encourage co-workers to walk with me at lunch. In addition, I spend one weekend day outside with my family, on a hike, farmers market, park or in our backyard in order to instill in my children a love and respect of nature and what it offers us.

    Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

This does not surprise me at all. I know I throw out food that has gone bad due to the kids refusing to eat or forgetting my lunch at home for the day.  I think that we all allow convenience to rule over frugality and sustainability at times. I would love to be able to put that money into saving for my retirement; to protect my kids from elderly care costs.
