  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Recycle Everything I Can
What have you learned about what is accepted by local haulers for recycling, what you can drop off or ship to certain places, and what is not recyclable in your area? What is the most difficult part of recycling for you?

    Holli Possehl's avatar
    Holli Possehl 10/17/2018 6:48 AM
What I learned about what is accepted by local haulers for recycling is that they can only allow is Aluminum cans ,Aluminum scrap ,Corrugated cardboard,Glass containers, Newsprint  | Mixed paper, Office paper
Other items that may be recycled include:
Cereal, cake, cracker boxes,Plastic bottles,Magazines,Tin/steel cans.

What you can drop off or ship to certain places are like Most plastics: plastic bags, grocery bags, produce bags,  ziplock bags, and some cereal bags. You can also drop off  news papers, and some package bags, cardboard ,etc.

What is not recycled in my area would be like carpets, furniture, books (some), batteries, window glass, etc.

What is the most difficult part of recycling for me is that I would accidentally put something in the recycling when its not suppose to.
