  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles serve an important role in places for health and safety, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. Can you identify the barriers in making this a new habit? How can you set yourself up for success in making this a permanent change?

I have always used a reusable coffee cup but had used the Styrofoam cups in Eisenberg for water. I bought and left a good reusable water bottle at the beginning of October. Made 2 trips over for ice and water and drank more water doing this.

Michael Pollan states that "it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor." What are your thoughts on this?

I ate pretty clean before but paid extra attention to making sure I  ate particularly clean with very little waste.

I have been really good about making coffee at home and using a reusable travel mug and bringing a reusable water bottle to work. Little harder to get out and enjoy nature with all the rain and cloudiness but trying to enjoy.

I think being mindful of several aspects of your life and make a conscious effort to change for the better. The two biggest challenges I will have are: I have about 20 reusable bags at home and almost never use them, this will be huge for a month and water bottles, use to getting the "To go" Styrofoam cups in Eisenberg, I will bring one of my reusable water bottles and have to remember to take that every time I want ice and water.
