Refusing a plastic bag at Cabelas is considered odd, by the way. But I have been thinking about switching up our coffee situation in tech services - maybe letting go of some kcups.

This is so much fun. I have begun to realize the amount of waste my 2 person house creates in a week. I think it's time I look into cutting down some of the waste - packaging and food waste.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy Adjust the Thermostat
Your utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your zipcode, and in your state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage?

I suppose I could unplug everything after I use it. My grandmother always made sure everything was unplugged before she left the house. I remember thinking it was crazy. but I'd be interested in seeing if it makes a difference.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use Reusable Bags
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?

I'm just going to request that the items are placed back into my cart as I usually have my reusable bags in my trunk.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Nature Go for a Daily Walk
How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

My neighbor's cows tend to become very interested in me. I think they just want to know what I'm listening to.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health More Fruits and Veggies
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How can we start shifting from a meat-focused food culture to a more plant-based one?

I'm not really sure. I really like meat.
