    Nature Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

It is definitely a truth that spending quality time outside is beneficial to you. Just taking a walk in the woods when I am stressed about something can calm me down and make me center myself.  It is a healing thing to be outside and to spend time in the sun and with nature. It saddens me that American culture is so invested in being inside or in front of a screen. It is harmful for their emotional health as well as their physical health. Sitting inside all day does not simulate any creative thoughts or feelings, in fact, it might even subdue them. I think nature is meant to be cherished and appreciated for what it is and what we have left of it.
