I think as you share gratitude it helps other feel as though they are cared for and thus makes them more likely to share gratitude with others.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy Adjust the Thermostat
Your utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your zipcode, and in your state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage?

I think about how working in an office that is focused on electricity to do everything makes this challenging.  I think there are ways or tasks during my day that I can focus on turning my computer off and possibly only using a desk lamp with efficient light bulbs to reduce my footprint at work.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health More Fruits and Veggies
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How can we start shifting from a meat-focused food culture to a more plant-based one?

I think we have been traditionally focused on the meat and potatoes meals.  It is a challenge as generations have trained people how to eat when people think they only way to have protein in their diet is by meat.   I think we can promote more healthy ways to gain protein that are as filling.

I spend time each night focusing on my day ahead to ensure I am prepared and feel less stressed.   I also use essential oil diffusing to calm myself.

    Waste Choose Two-Sided Printing
Choosing two-sided printing can be an easy adjustment on your computer settings. How can you help others make this same switch? Can it be encouraged company wide?

It was an easy change on my computer and I can recommend that I ask staff to not print copied of agendas for meetings to either bring it electronically or I will use the board in my office to write the agenda.
