This was a fun exercise!  Logging in everyday was a reminder to keep doing the things I needed to do and it kept me accountable.

Getting the extra one hour of sleep each night has raised my energy levels considerably.  I'm no longer too tired to exercise at the end of the day!

I've found that getting an extra hour of sleep each night has made a real difference in my energy level throughout the day and also my ability to focus and accomplish more at work and at home.  It didn't occur to me before that one small change could make such a big difference!

I've found that of all of my challenges, my sleep habits have changed the most.  It has made me much more aware of getting to bed at an earlier time so I can get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep as compared to 5 to 6 hours before.

I am finding that I need to get my exercise in before work and/or over lunch because I am too tired at the end of the day.

I totally understand!  I hope you are able to find the time in your busy day to do so over lunch.  You deserve "you-time" during the day!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Enjoy the Sunrise/Sunset
Father Thomas Berry says, "...our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." Respond to Berry's assertion.

I'm not sure our primary purpose is "celebration," however, Father Berry makes a valid point about it having the ability to link humans with the universe/planet Earth. Nice thought.

I find that weekends are a little harder to keep on track with my challenges because daily routine is interrupted.

The challenge makes me more aware of the things I am doing and NOT doing. It gives a sense of accountability.

Start to wind down earlier in the evening, usually by reading, and then I am relaxed and ready to sleep when I go to bed.
