Even though this challenge is coming to an end, I will continue to be mindful of what I am doing and how it is affecting the community.

This challenge has made me more aware of everything around me and how I can help my community. I can’t wait to see our total impact on the community. Just the simple act of getting up early to look at the sunrise or looking outside your window to watch the sunset can just brighten your day.

I use to use a lot of plastic straws and plastic bags, but now I have substituted those for reusable bags and drinking without a straw.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Car Share
Take a moment to think of places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?

I only ask my parents to drive me home from school whenever I stay late at school but otherwises I take the train from school so I don’t waste energy. Whenever one of my friends is goin o he same place as me, our parents carpool so we save energy.

Since watching this movie, I have been eating healthier at home and watching what everyone in my home eats. I have made sure not to eat as much refined sugar as I have been eating and I this will do more good to my body than if I kept eating as much refined sugar as I have been.
