Father Thomas Berry says, "...our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." Respond to Berry's assertion.

We must celebrate the beginning and end of each day just as people praise and celebrate the Alpha and the Omega. By doing so, we are imbued with a deeper sense of life and the universe we live in.

I think that I would like to reflect more on my interaction with the world and the people that I encounter on a daily basis. There are times when I am quick to act out or say something without pondering the consequences, good or bad. If I meditate on this, it may be possible for me to make better decisions about my actions and words.

By being grateful for and aware of my possessions, I am reminded of my ability to push through previous obstacles. This motivates me to continue taking on each day to the best of my ability.
