REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use Reusable BagsWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?

REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Eat MindfullyMindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How do your eating experiences differ when practicing mindfulness?
Madison Setzer 10/18/2018 1:18 PMWell if i was doing mindfulness while eating I might notice more of what i'm doing. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Tend a GardenHave you ever had a significant experience in nature that altered your perspective or focus? If so, please describe it.
Madison Setzer 10/18/2018 1:16 PMWhen I went with my family to a creek to swim and I saw a water snake that made me not like the creeks as much and now I am a little cautious around the creeks now but they are still fun. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth More Fruits and VeggiesWhat do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How can we start shifting from a meat-focused food culture to a more plant-based one?
Madison Setzer 10/09/2018 1:48 PMI think it just shows that we really like meat and we can't really change our ways.-
Lora Jones 10/09/2018 7:49 PMWe have many more food choices here in the US and you are right that we have been lucky enough to have meat as a staple in our diet. Consider that if you chose a cheese sandwich for lunch or eggs without bacon or sausage for breakfast, you would be helping future generations to have a healthier planet.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Whole Foods DietMichael Pollan states that "it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor." What are your thoughts on this?
Madison Setzer 10/09/2018 1:45 PMI think that it sounds interesting i don't really know what to say about this.
