REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Learn About Local Environmental Justice ConcernsWho is most affected by environmental degration and/or environmental irresponsiblity in your community? How are they affected?
Hannah Sheehan 10/16/2018 9:06 PMSomething learned today was that Potsdam is having an ethical review of their drinking water system and whether it should be fluoridated or not. There is a huge uproar because many residents of the county are not happy that they were not told beforehand that they must drink this water from their tap. Many want to Ben free from the town water but cannot afford to install their own well. -
Hannah Sheehan 10/09/2018 8:05 AMWalked over 16 miles this weekend and traveled more than 50 miles using public transportation! Break from school doesn’t mean a break from sustainable living!-

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Choose Organic IngredientsCan organic farming feed the world? Which side of the argument do you fall on? Why?
Hannah Sheehan 10/03/2018 8:18 AMI think it would be very difficult for us all to eat organic foods for every meal everyday for an entire planet because we all have different dietary needs and financial stresses. Sure, maybe it’s easier for me to eat organic food more often but that’s because I have the ability to spend the money and go to places that offer it. Other parts of the world are not so lucky. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Go for a Daily WalkHow do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?
Hannah Sheehan 10/03/2018 8:14 AMI like the smell of the outdoors just after it Has just rained. One of my favorite smells. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use Reusable BagsWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?
Hannah Sheehan 10/02/2018 5:52 AMI usually accept the disposable one if I need a bag, but I collect and save them all until I can bring them back to the store to recycle them. However, if I have my car with me and I am planning to shop I will use the reusable bags that I always keep in the trunk of my car. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Drive LessHow has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?
Hannah Sheehan 10/02/2018 5:50 AMI often had to drive most places each day because I lived far away but now I can walk more to get to my destination because I am much closer.
