Participant Feed

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles serve an important role in places for health and safety, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. Can you identify the barriers in making this a new habit? How can you set yourself up for success in making this a permanent change?

For me the hardest part about this challenge is remembering to bring the reusable bottle with me. If I do forget it and I am forced to purchase a plastic bottle, I will reuse that bottle repeatedly to ensure that I am getting a good amount of use out of it before I have to toss it. I will have to work on ensuring that my reusable bottle is on me at all times so I don't have to purchase any plastic bottles.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Plant an Herb Garden
Consider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? a patio container? hanging basket? windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?

I have started the small herb garden on the window sills of my kitchen but I plan on moving it outside once the weather warms up again. I look forward to not spending money on herbs at the grocery store and it will also encourage me to cook more.

It's crazy how easy some of these challenges are to do, I don't have to completely change my life style to help out.
