REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Go PaperlessReducing your paper mail can be such a freeing action to take -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?
Jeremy Stoner 10/23/2018 7:35 AMI will limit purchases that come with additional packaging and use reusable bags for shopping, I can also forego having receipts printed out. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWater Insulate Water Pipes and Water HeaterHow do you think climate change will affect your region’s water supply? Think about the effects of weather, storms, salinity, and sea level rise, among other changes. How can you find out more about climate change’s impact to your region's water?
Jeremy Stoner 10/22/2018 10:51 AMWhile climate change will certainly reduce the amount of potable water, each individual's consumption (particularly in the United States) is extremely high. Fresh water is actually a limited resource, and needs to be conserved in as many ways as possible.

REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Work from HomeIt takes the average worker in the United States 26 minutes to travel to work. One way to fix long commutes would be to make cities more affordable. An even simpler option: promote the use of telework. Are you in an industry that would allow you to work from home? What are some obstacles you might find yourself facing while working from home?
Jeremy Stoner 10/18/2018 10:13 AMYes, on an occasional basis. As a different work environment, personal tasks and items may become a distraction. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Online Energy AuditWhat most interested or surprised you about your own energy footprint?
Jeremy Stoner 10/18/2018 10:12 AMHow much electricity is consumed running Air Conditioning. Significant electrical consumption occurred, almost double of a non cooling month. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Personal Waste AuditWhy is it so difficult to understand the impacts our purchases and waste have on other people, animals, and places? How might your experience with this challenge impact your future consumption and choices?
Jeremy Stoner 10/11/2018 9:26 AMIt's difficult to understand due to the age old adage, " Out of sight, out of mind". Most people are unaware of the quantity and impact that their waste has on the environment. I'll certainly work to reduce my impact by limiting purchases with packaging and using reusable bags when shopping if possible. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Car ShareTake a moment to think of places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?
Jeremy Stoner 10/08/2018 6:58 AMYes, carpooling to various places is a great way to reduce emissions. -
Jeremy Stoner 10/04/2018 11:35 AMOff to a great start. Lets go team!!!! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Explore My AreaHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place?
