Please vote. And consider voting yes on 26-201, a Portland, OR clean energy community benefits initiative: A yes vote is a vote in favor of requiring retailers with a total annual revenue of over 1 billion dollars and Portland annual revenue over 500,000 dollars to pay a 1% surcharge on gross revenue from retail sales to fund clean energy projects and job training. Thanks

As the mornings get chillier it is harder to keep the hot shower short.

    Water 5-Minute Showers
Five minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?

We will install a drip system from our rain barrels to the southwest-facing part of our front yard to help the perennials weather the increasingly hot summers.

Spending time in the natural areas near you allows you to see trees in all of the seasons. You begin to be familiar with the fallen leaves, which can help identify the trees. You might get visits from birds travelling through. You appreciate the work of the pollinators in your garden. You enjoy the shade of a big tree on a hot day.
