Sarah's actions
Simplicity
De-Clutter My Home
I will de-clutter, clean, and donate or recycle unneeded items in my home.
Health
Audit Toxic Cleaning Products in my Home
I will spend 60 minutes researching toxic chemicals found in cleaning supplies and personal care products and remove them from my home.
Food
Locally-Sourced Meals
I will source 1 meal(s) each day from local producers.
Waste
Compost Food Waste
I will avoid sending up to .69 lbs (.31 kg) of food waste to the landfill each day by composting my food or learning how to.
Waste
Recycle Everything I Can
Contamination prevents what is recyclable from being recycled. I will spend 60 minutes researching and recycling all materials that are accepted by local haulers or drop stations in my community.
Health
Exercise Daily
Exercise is a great stress blaster! I will exercise for 15 minute(s) each day.

Sarah vogel 10/20/2018 9:07 PMI am so sad. Learning more and more about american recycling i realise that i can't recycle as much as i was used to in my homecountry. I did so much wrong... And contaminated the recycling. I am so shocked that my garbage bin is going straight to the landfill. And it will be there for up to 500years. I really want to reduce e my waste. Now more than ever. -
Sarah vogel 10/13/2018 3:45 PMWe had salmon today. We got it from a friend who caught it 2weeks ago. Yum! -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Locally-Sourced MealsIf you were to only eat what is in season locally, what would be the hardest for you to give up?

Sarah vogel 10/08/2018 12:00 AMThe easiest task for me is to cook locally sourced meals. I love going to a farm with my kids. Feeding goats, admiring cute bunnies and buying local and seasonal veggies and fruits. It is so much fun for the kids and it tastes so good. What is more, My 2 year old started to eat more veggies. Win win and win! -
