I would like to invest more time in reflecting on positive experiences because it's too easy to get caught up only thinking about problems and stress. I want to think about things that make me happy.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Simplicity Go for a Daily Walk
Fresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?

Being outside and walking makes me feel more calm and happy. I feel more healthy after moving around and being outside. I think everyone would benefit from being outside more. I have some of my best thoughts when I'm walking. I also really enjoy walking and talking with other people.

Carpooling with friends to and from school saves my parents a lot of time and is more convenient than walking or biking because I have a lot of stuff to carry and don't live that close to school. My options are limited because only a couple friends live near me. It can be frustrating because I like to be on time but the people I ride with are not always punctual. I try to only ride with friends who are careful and responsible which most of them are. I don't feel any less safe than when my parents drive even though most of them are fairly new drivers. It's nice to have extra time to interact with friends.
