Being outside grounds me to the earth and to nature.  I love the Boise area because I can see wildlife and birds of prey.  Mentally I am able to clear my head from the stress of the day.

I can completely relate to your post, Danae. I stepped away from my PC this afternoon to do just that ... clear my head from the stress of the day (with my dog, Sophie). It was lovely.

you can make sure your not doing any harm to the water by not dumping stuff down the toiled the foset and the sinks.
for example don't trow this down the toilet.

    Transportation Walk Instead
Half of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Do you feel that this fact applies to you? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?

I try to make all my trips count.  I may stop at the store on my way home from work (22 miles each way) to that I don't have to make another trip in the evening.  I plan my trips so that I can go the most advantageous route and hit all the locations on one trip.
