  • Reflection Question
    Nature Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

I deeply agree that being in nature can help you more mentally and emotionally than even the physical aspect of getting yourself out and in nature. There is so much distraction and electronic noise (both literal and metaphorical) indoors that being in nature is almost like a reset. You're able to remember the sound of quiet which I think we can all use more of.
  • Reflection Question
    Simplicity Work-Life Balance
Is practicing work-life balance difficult to do? How does it feel when you first begin? How does this feel for you after 21 days?

So this didn't happen this week...trying again next week.
  • Reflection Question
    Waste Go Paperless
Reducing your paper mail can be such a freeing action to take -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?
