I try to live on a one-for-one policy. For everything one new thing I buy (knick-knack/non-essential item) I will donate or re-purpose something I already have.

I practice self care by giving myself an hour of every day to do whatever I want to do: read, cook, sleep, walk/hike, play video games.

This year I've struggled to get all my challenges done every day, but I have done some of them everyday! Considering how hard my daily life feels right now I am grateful to be working on these practices (and mostly doing them) and also holding myself in gentleness and not allowing my perfectionist tendencies to derail me from imperfectly completing more than I could do perfectly right now. Love to you all!

I don't eat more than the guidelines suggest especially after learning about everything in the water and how our marine life is being effected by things like pollution and microplastics.

There is a lot of ghost energy being used because certain appliances are always plugged in.  I was happy that I used a lot less energy than I thought but have identified ways to reduce that use.

Use it to dry my clothes, hair (sun + wind) and car after they are washed.
