    One food choice I made to do more good and less harm is to not eat meat. I've been vegetarian for about four years! A choice I could make is to reduce my dairy consumption. I use alternative "milks" and I've definitely reduced my ice cream intake, but I still love cheese and butter!

    I've been MIA for checking in since Thursday due to a concussion. I can't ride my bike or use the electric scooter share systems until all of my symptoms are gone, which is a bummer. However, I was finally able to go to a farmer's market on Sunday and got in a lot of walking over the weekend! Win some, lose some.

    I am loving my lunchwalks when I get to do them. Look at this view!!

    I can turn all the lights off when I leave a room. I tend to leave them on. I also have a bunch of things plugged in that probably don't need to be.

    Looks like one of my toes is broken and I might have a bit of a concussion from falling down the stairs yesterday, but I still managed to bike to work this morning! My head is absolutely killing me, but at least biking is less toe work than driving, plus it benefits the environment!

    I have been walking a ton lately after work. This challenge is going great. We have to make the most out of the nice cool temperatures and the daylight while there is still some. Winter is coming!

    No biking today :( I fell down the stairs this morning and smashed my toes. Hopefully they'll feel better tomorrow!

    Plastics and human wastefulness are wreaking havoc on our earth, and it's not just in the middle of the Pacific ocean. A black bear cub was just rescued from a plastic tub stuck over its head this weekend. This is just one more reason to be mindful of our single use plastics!

    Take cold showers, turn off lights when not in use, unplug appliances when not in use

    Walking each day improves my mood and makes me feel more relaxed and in control of my life. It also gives me a push to notice if the weather is perfect so I can do a longer walk. I can't make it at lunch every day because work happens, but when I do my day is better automatically.
