    I am grateful for:
    1. Yin yoga
    2. Postcards in the mail to add to my giant wall map in my office at home. I love the postcards both for the physicality of getting something in the mail from friends and family, and for the dreaming of future places to visit around the world. Recently, I got postcards from Iceland and Hawaii.

    Weekend Gratitude:
    1. Free birthday yoga at Woodstock Wellness Center.
    2. Playing Azul with my sweetie.
    3. Making Shephard's pie and fall comfort food.
    4. House remodel research adventures in the afternoon, horse ties in Portland, & belly laughs with my sweetie.
    5. Ladies Nights, and all the ladies that came out to Vintage Cocktail Lounge for my birthday (observed).
    6. Best birthday present ever! New Carcasonne expansion packs.
    7. Days off and being at home.
    8. Meditation glitter jars.
    9. More game time with Warren.

    I am grateful for:
    1. All the friends I saw last night at the Love Gigantic show, especially those who wished me a happy birthday (including a shout out from Sarah onstage)!
    2. The amazing music that heals us all and brings us together.
    3. Kat & Ken for driving me downtown, when I forgot my housekey at work, and then home last evening.

    1.  Stars! I rarely see stars in the city. This morning, Orion was looking out at me as I sat in the hot tub
    2.  Sushi-go-round lunch with Amy!
    3. Amazing live music with friends. I am looking forward to The Goods and Love Gigantic show this evening.

    I am grateful for:
    1. Launching a new suite of resources for staff at work, culminating in a year's worth of work.
    2. Spicy chocolate cupcakes to share with my team at lunch for my birthday (observed).
    3. The app Libby which allows me to check out ebooks from the Multnomah County library and read for free on my tablet. 

    I am currently reading the follow up to the Little Book of Hygge, and reading the Little Book of Lykke.

    I need to catch up on posting a few days of gratitude.

    There's so much to be thankful for these days.

    I am grateful for:

    1. The upcoming kitchen remodel and the chance to make the ideas turn into actionable plans.

    2. Amazing vegan ramen noodles with hot sauce at Boke Bowl.

    3. Seeing Cameron Esposito at the Revolution Hall.

    4. My bike ride to the farmer's market Sunday morning.

    5. Experiencing Kris Deelane & the Hurt play at Jane's party.

    6. Cozy times with chanterelle mushroom soup, colored pencils, and Monty Python.

    7. Taking my birthday off work, because I can.

    8. All the wonderful birthday messages!

    9. Sushi dinner tonight with Brandy who's visiting from Australia and my sweetie!

    I am grateful for:
     1. Finding out about a new coffee shop when my boss took me out for coffee for my birthday this morning.
     2. Thai red curry with mango which is one of my favorite foods ever. Also, I am thankful for the co-worker who bought me lunch today. We chatted about her upcoming trip to Bora Bora, and I gave her some highlights about my trip there six years ago.
     3. A sunny kick off to my birthday weekend!

    I am grateful for:
    1. The amazing fall colors and the sunshine within which to view them all.
    2. That my work has been sponsoring a six week meditation class, where I have been exploring the practice.
    3. An amazing Vietnamese dinner at Lela Bistro with the extended family (Warren, Marla, VaLera, Emil and Buff.) The vegetarian pho was outstanding!

    I am grateful for:
     1. My beautiful garden in the pre-dawn light.

    2. That I decided to attend the diversity, equity and inclusion kick off meeting at work today. 
    3. Tanya Zumach, who's birthday is today. Tanya's generosity & hospitality is legendary from all the years of hosting Thanksgiving dinners for friends and family, to years of magical camping times at the land, and all those times she's showed up with amazing food, drink and pizzazz! Her trip to Spain on her 40th birthday inspired both Warren and me for a decade later to go big, travel far, and have amazing adventures especially when your birthday ends in zero. We're not done yet! Tanya, you continue to inspire and impact folks in a positive manner all the time. Thank you, TZ, for all you do, and may your birthday be blessed with laughter and love.
