  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health
Before you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now?

Since I have not been truly 100% successful in stopping all sugar, I actually know I am addicted to it.  I was surprised how strong my cravings are and were.  It is pretty enlightening and something I'll continue working on.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

No, it doesn't surprise me.  I also feel my family throws out more food we should.  I would rather save this for an emergency fund.

Enjoying all this fresh produce from the farmer's market!  Perfect time of year for it!

Unfortunately we have no local farmers markets, its a real bummer :(

How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

I enjoy trail running.  It reminds me of how precious our environment is and why we should preserve  and respect it.
