REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Needs Vs. WantsHow is creativity necessary for practicing simplicity?
Shannon Beers 10/03/2018 7:17 AMPeople have so much STUFF! I try to limit what I buy because we don't NEED the items we acquire. There is so much waste constantly when we buy things we don't need. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity MeditateWhat would you like to invest more time in reflecting on?

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Shannon Beers 10/03/2018 7:14 AMYou first have to love yourself before you can love others. I have motivational sayings on my mirror in the morning when I get ready so I can lift myself up for a good day. At the end of the day I look up other quotes to be uplifting in case I had a rough day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Choose LED BulbsChanging lightbulbs is an excellent first step toward energy efficiency! In what other ways can you exercise your civic duty to protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions?
Shannon Beers 10/03/2018 7:13 AMI have used windows for lighting during the day so I don't have to use light bulbs at all.

REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Adjust the ThermostatYour utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your zipcode, and in your state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage?
Shannon Beers 10/03/2018 7:11 AMshorter showers, and shutting off items that you aren't using that is drawing electricity. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Turn it offHow is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?
Shannon Beers 10/03/2018 7:09 AMI always shut off the lights when leaving the room. I try to not use energy where it is not being enjoyed. Sometimes we don't need to listen to the hum of electricity.
