We live very fast and trying to make everything easy and we realize what we are causing with the amount of waste we are generating. If we all stop and start counting the waste we generate daily, we will be frightened and start taking the necessary controls to reduce them.

Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

I agree that we need the beauty of nature for our development. The cultures that remain long time
in their homes adversely impact the quality of their lives.
