  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

Spending time outdoors allows us to see the beauty and creativity of the world around us.  Spending too much time indoors does not allow us to use our imagination or creativity.  Spending time outdoors reminds us that it is a big world and life is not all about me.
