Max Caruso 10/24/2018 12:45 PMThis has been a good reminder for me to routinely reinforce positive habits. It’s been fun to learn about this format of online “challenges”. I’ve learned a bit and enjoyed seeing the progress of others. Glad Slow Food USA gave us the opportunity to get involved! -

Max Caruso 10/24/2018 7:08 AMEating mindfully allows me to enjoy the full flavors of what I am eating. It also allows me to be conciliatory thankful for the good, clean and fair food I have available to me and reminds me of the efforts ahead to bring those same food choices to everyone! -

Max Caruso 10/15/2018 12:10 PMIt has been easy replacing screen time with outdoor time. It is a beautiful time of year to be outdoors and my senses are much more stimulated by walking in nature than tapping on a smart phone screen! -

Max Caruso 10/13/2018 2:36 PMDaily walks benefit me on so many levels. Hearing the birds, seeing the clouds, feeling the breeze, smelling the flowers all make a day that much better. Time spent walking in nature is simply time well spent for me. Doesn’t hurt that there is beautiful coastline, redwoods forests and amazing parks nearby. I feel fortunate to have the time and space to enjoy walks daily. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Limit Social MediaSocial media is a great way to keep us connected with loved ones, makes us laugh, and helps us to learn new things. It can also take more time than we realize or intend to give. After doing this action for a few days now, how do you feel? What do you notice?
