Last day. Noticed a lot of people crediting referrals with garbage names recently.  Seriously, look at the bottom of our team list.  It is quite ridiculous.

Wow! You are right - quite bizarre actually, I have not seen this before today.

Don't forget to use a reusable water bottle.

What is one thing you can do to help your community become more sustainable?

It starts with being more involved.  If you can make your voice be heard to advocate for sustainable options the idea will be planted and considered by those who had not thought of such options.

    Community Join my Neighborhood Association
How can your community support inclusive decision making?

My community doesn't have a neighborhood association, however it is important to consider how your actions affect your neighbors.  Two days ago we met with neighbors about four feral cats on our property to make sure they weren't wandering over from neighbors before finding them homes or taking them to the shelter.

I have completed all of the one time challenges. Some of them were difficult, but I was able to make an effort without spending money, which was great.  Saving money without spending any is the best.

Challenge is winding down. Only seven days left.  Work on those one time challenges and keep up the work with the daily challenges.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water Fix Leaky Faucets
Fixing leaky faucets is one of the tasks that we can easily put off until later. Good job on completing this action! How will you use the momentum from completing this action to increase your water efficiency?

Its easy to let things sit and drip.  Its important to make positive action for change.

Buying new home Thursday and have the ideas in place to improve energy and water efficiency already.  Low flow shower head and weatherproofing will be the first improvements I make.

I was thinking how there are only nine days left, but it shouldn't end here.  The saying goes that it only takes 15 days to create a habit, and hopefully some of are daily goals are turning into habits for us.  Get out there!
