REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportationThe US spends roughly 20% of its federal budget on defense. In contrast, 2% goes to education, 20% goes to social security and 3% goes to transportation infrastructure. Do these numbers surprise you at all? Why or why not?
James Cullin 10/03/2018 8:00 AMDoes not surprise me as I follow federal politics, but it's still disappointing. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthBefore you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now?
James Cullin 10/03/2018 7:58 AMCertainly not "addicted", but I definitely have a sweet tooth. Being more mindful of the additives in food with the goal of a healthier self. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthWhat single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?
James Cullin 10/03/2018 7:55 AMCutting down on plastic grocery bags, and try to reuse them as much as possible whenever I receive them. -
James Cullin 10/01/2018 1:22 PMReally looking forward to this, to see what difference a small group of like-minded folks can make!
