Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.

    By making sure to reduce as much waste as possible by using reusable items such as a reusable water bottles, grocery bags, and tupperware. Also incorporating other "R's"  by purchasing second hand clothes from thrift stores and donating clothes I do not wear anymore.

    I walked off campus to Myrick park and observed some of the leaves changing color. It was more humid out today than the normal fall weather we have been having.

    Making sure the water is turned off when I am not using it, for example, when brushing my teeth turning it off when not using it.
