Pretty sad on the exercise front - work and family are really busy this week! There’s always tomorrow though!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Compost Food Waste
New to composting? Be sure to check out the action resource links to learn tips and more about it. As you transition from throwing food away to composting, what do you notice about how much you are tossing? Do you know how your compost will be used and the benefits it has on the environment?

Composting makes me feel good about recycling what I don’t use, but also keeping me acccountable for wasting produce. I’m Devi steely more aware of how much I toss now. I plan to put my compost into my fruit/veggie gardens.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Avoid refined sugar
Before you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now?

This one wasn’t super hard for me. I’m not much of a sugar person anyway. It was really a chance to be more aware of hidden added sugar in processed foods, and avoid those. This challenge is keeping me aware of my choices.

I understand we are trying to establish good habits, but I wish I could add more challenges because I don't always do all the daily challenges daily. Learning about seafood choices didn't not end up being a good DAILY challenge for me (more of a one-time, or only-when-I'm-at-the-grocery kind of challenge), so I swapped it for meatless meals, which I can totally do daily! go WSP.

Excited about seriously composting. Built two bins last weekend! I have two apple trees that got me started, but soon realized threres so much more I can save from the trash and add to my compost. Go WSP!
