Dimitar's actions
Food
Reduce Animal Products
I will enjoy 1 meatless meal(s) and/or 0 vegan meal(s) each day this week.
Waste
Skip the Straw
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Simplicity
Limit Social Media
I will limit my social media use to once each day reducing my daily use by 6 minute(s)
Water
Install a Toilet Tank Bank
I will reduce the amount of water flushed and save up to 11 gallons (41 L) of water each day by installing a toilet tank bank.
Waste
Use a Reusable Mug
I will avoid sending 3 disposable cup(s) to the landfill each day by using a reusable mug.
Transportation
Go by Bike
I will commute by bike 10 mile(s) each day and avoid sending up to 7.34 lbs of CO2 into Earth's atmosphere.

REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Go by BikeHow do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience differ while walking, riding transit, biking or driving?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reuseable one but it's just hard to make the switch. Think about what stands in your way of making this a habit. By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

REFLECTION QUESTIONWater Install a Toilet Tank BankName some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?
Dimitar Dimitrov 10/08/2018 1:31 PMSaving 1/2 liter of water every time I let empty the toilet tank :) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Skip the StrawHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?
Dimitar Dimitrov 10/05/2018 9:04 AMI am planning on drinking cocktails this Friday night and I plan to say no to all straws! Hopefully after a critical mass of people saying this, bar owners will start using straws of more sustainable materials and limit their use in general. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Limit Social MediaSocial media is a great way to keep us connected with loved ones, makes us laugh, and helps us to learn new things. It can also take more time than we realize or intend to give. After doing this action for a few days now, how do you feel? What do you notice?
Dimitar Dimitrov 10/03/2018 1:39 AMI try to limit the use of social media. Today, uninstalled the facebook app from my phone, as example. -
