[email protected] [email protected] 10/22/2018 8:01 PMI've always paid attention to what I eat but it hasn't really been a mission- more just a habit in part driven by the fact I am too lazy to exercise as much as I should. This year the Eco Challenge has inspired me to really focus on food, what I know about where it comes from and what I should know about the food. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodConsider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? a patio container? hanging basket? windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?
[email protected] [email protected] 10/18/2018 7:11 PMFor much of my adult life I have been gardening in pots, small areas in my small yards as life took me from house to house and city to city. Now, approaching retirement after a 4 year search in tight real estate market we stumbled on a living situation where yard is suitable for large garden and house has a sun room where I can keep growing through the winter. Still unpacking boxes but next step is plan Winter hydroponics and Spring garden. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyWhat inspires you to act on sustainable energy and other energy issues?
[email protected] [email protected] 10/17/2018 12:00 PMI see what people accomplish with not much income and little resources available to them. Makes me realize I could do so much more.
